Morning Wood was established in 1998 out of a garage in Southern California. The owner, a long time surf and skate enthusiast, has been shaping boards since high school woodshop. The original process consisted of vertically laminated hardwoods and fiberglass on the top and bottom of the skate decks. These boards are still being offered today, as well as a variety of new features and techniques to meet and exceed the competition. In 2001, Morning Wood relocated to Southern Oregon and expanded out of the garage to a warehouse. Morning Wood takes great pride in the ability to make all material purchases in the United States, ninety percent of which are local. Morning Wood Skateboards manufactures handmade custom hardwood and plywood skateboard decks that are made from premium quality materials and skilled craftsmanship to match each skateboard to the individual style of customer at a competitive price.
